Hiring a web design firm that understands search engine optimization can you save time and money while hiring the wrong web design company can result in a website that needs to be overhauled in order to be SEO friendly. For example, a 100% Flash website can be difficult, if not impossible, to optimize. But more common challenges include websites with text embedded in graphics which is invisible to search engines that could have had search engine friendly HTML text in its place, less than ideal HTML/CSS coding, and a URL structure that doesn't include keywords.
